Consider/Approve Request to Hold Instructional Sports Camps and Payment of Salary Supplements |

Background Information: Coaches from Obion County Central High School have requested permission to hold instructional basketball camps for the students of Obion County. Board approval is necessary for the coaches to receive the estimated salary supplements. The revenues and expenditures will be accounted for through the school’s athletic fund. After paying the costs to hold the instructional sports camps, the remaining funds will be submitted through Central Office to be included in regular payroll as supplements for holding the instructional sports camps. All purchases, as well as the supplements, will follow Board policy. Board approval is required for the payment of salary supplements. Staff Recommendation: As proper procedures have been followed seeking permission to hold the above-noted instructional basketball camps and payment of the related supplements, I recommend Board approval. |
